Mythbusters Haunts My Past
Just started watching the latest Mythbusters and boom, something I made for CafePress four-years-ago pops up.
Back in the day I was really into the show, and being a huge weenie I wanted to make some “funny” items on CafePress for fans. I whipped up some incredibly lame slogans, uploaded the images and added them to a whole bunch of different items. I got a few sales from Mythbusters forum members, then forgot about it all.
I am blown away that someone there bought that piece of crap. I even dug up the one and only sale (May 2008).
And I somehow still have the original graphic.
To tie up this whole ramble, the most incredible part of this is that this very same day I see I see this old relic, I receive my first CafePress commission check of $27.70. Universe, you so crazy.
